The Art & Science of Aging Well

Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Plymouth Patient and Family Advisory Committee will host an event that will focus on maximizing the health and wellbeing of older adults and to help them stay healthy as they age.
The Art & Science of Aging Well will include a complimentary dinner, a special gift, and presentations by Dr. Jeremy Whyman, a Geriatrician and Palliative Medicine physician from Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. He will discuss what is normal aging and what is not; Dr. Deborah Kylander, a Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital – Plymouth affiliate physician will discuss nutrition, best ways to stay fit and live well; and Kristen Muratore, a real estate attorney in Plymouth will discuss the three legal documents every adult should have.
“We are very excited to host this important event”, says Susan Grassie, co-chair of the Patient and Family Advisory Council. “There’s a lot of information out there about what we should do to live a longer and healthier life that can be confusing and overwhelming. We thought it was important for the community to understand the real facts and to hear from local experts about the best ways to living a healthier and longer life.”
The event is free and open to the public. To register, visit: theartandscienceofagingwell.eventbrite.com or call 508-210-5911.
