Highfield Hall & Gardens Opens 2024 Culinary Season

Highfield Hall & Gardens is pleased to announce the start of the 2024 Culinary season. Incoming Culinary Director Kate Davis joins Highfield’s veteran Culinary Director Gail Blakely in planning and hosting a variety of culinary classes and the ‘Meet the Chef’ series. February classes are now available.

Highfield’s culinary season launches February 8th with an in-house class: ‘Fondue with Kate Davis - Not Just Cheese and Chocolate!’ Join Kate to learn more about this fun and unique way to share a meal. The class will cook and taste a fondue appetizer, protein and vegetable main course, and dessert. Classes with Kate, and other culinary pop-up classes run on select Thursdays from 12:00-2:00.

Highfield’s popular ‘Meet the Chef’ series once again runs on select Sundays from 1:00-3:00 pm. Kate Davis, welcomes the first two guest chefs: Tristan Feufeu of Bleu Restaurant with French cuisine on February 18, and Jeremi Walker of Windfall Market with authentic Jamaican cuisine on February 25.

Highfield’s ‘Meet the Chef’ series has been a strong and positive partnership between Highfield and chefs from local restaurants, private clubs, and catering companies since 2015. Select members from the talented culinary community provide demonstration classes and sampling of popular dishes in the Highfield kitchen. Attendees get to meet local chefs and restaurateurs as they demonstrate some of their favorite recipes and tell “stories from the stove” in the intimate Highfield Hall kitchen.
